Hello,

First I would like to thank you for looking at my thread. I am a young IT professional wanting to get into IT security. I have stumbled across a lucky job opportunity that might pay off for me. The job is a going to schools and auditing there security systems so auditors can come in and make sure the data is reliable. I am new to the security seen so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any books or classes that I should take so I can learn more about the whole security auditing process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Madrino,
I know this reply is late. Since I just joined this forum, I thought I give you some advice and there aren't any replies to your question.

If your job needs you to do security audit, you may wish to look at the Certified I.S. Auditor (CISA) study materials to get an idea on what to look out for in an audit. Check out < for more details.

Good luck!
