I am about to write a image manager but figured it might already be done. Does anyone know of a pre-made application that will do the following?...

Students at a school for the arts will be allowed to upload images of their artwork. The upload form will allow them to state their name, the title of the piece, and any important information in a memo field. After images are uploaded, an administrator must review them and approve which ones will appear in the public gallery.

Is there already an application out there that will do this? I've browsing sourceforge.net now but I am not seeing a perfect application.

I have personally written a photo gallery script that might meet your needs. I tried to write it so that it could be easily transferred between different websites (sort of a GNU license format).

Email me if you are interested in more details and I will hook you up :). If it doesnt meet your needs specifically you could easily modify it with just alittle bit of php knowledge.
