Seek into wmv file while recording?

Is there a way to seek into a wmv file while the file is currently being recorded? I have no problem seek after the record is complete...but I have a need to seek back into a actively recording file.

Any Ideas?

Seek back in a record buffer? I don't believe you can do that. You would stop the recording, reset your position and start recording again, or make the modification after you have all the data out of the buffer.
