Hello-

I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a way to tell what users are not logging off of our Windows 2000 domain at night? We have several users who stay logged on and we want to be able to communicate to them clearly that they need to log off, however we have no way of figuring out exactly what users are doing this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

-Tim N.

Right-click on My Computer(on the server)
Click "Manage"
Expand "Shared Folders"
Select "Sessions"

All active sessions on this server will be listed. One of the columns is "Connected Time". This will tell you how long the user has been connected to the server. Anything longer than a normal work day would be someone who hasn't logged off at the end of the day.
