I need to allow only certain users access to a report and looking for any ideas on the best method to use. Specifically I have a report giving details on various "job functions" (i.e. engineering, operations, accounting, etc.) and only want those users in the engineering dept. to see their (engineering user id's) data; operations their (operations user id's) data; accountants their data, etc? I'm using Crystal Reports 10 and Crystal Enterprise 10 strictly. (no VB, etc.)

Thanks!

This is exactly what Business Views do (amongst other things). View Time Security / Filtering.

Before "anyone" says anything, yes it's proprietary, as is the whole report delivery stack.:p
