One of our users has raised the question as to what data is available to
other users after he has used Webaccess in an airport or hotel PC terminal?
If he uses the logout option, does this remove all traces of data and can
other users access viewed messages via the history? If the terminals are
locked so the history or temp inet files cannot be cleared are there any
security issues here?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Chris

Gotta admit to not knowing the files left over fom webaccess, but we use a product that does clientless ssl vpn to our office. There is no files/residue on the pc and as it is clientless we use it from internet cafe's etc etc etc.

If you wanna know more just post a reply. don't wanna clog your post up if you don't have any interest.

Thanks Lee.

Anything you can let me know of would be appreciated.

We have 2 systems we are testing/evaluating before we offer to customers.

Can be accessed from a browser and will create a ssl vpn applet for whatever software is needed. 1 of the systems is a software solution and one is a hardware solution. Both do the job but obviously dependant on what else apart from webaccess is required.

I don't have any flyers or what have you as I'm just the techie doing the work. If you want send me you email address and I'll get some info sent.
