Hi,

We are looking at deploying one of our applications through citrix metaframe. What we are hoping to do is only let the users have access to the application and not have access to say windows explorer - we only want them to use our app and not have access to our data drives

Is this possible?

Thanks for any advice you might have,
Tom

Yes, it´s possible by hiding the drives letters by policy

You may need to do a bit more than hide the drive letters via the policy - some apps will allow users to run Explorer in other, more devious ways.

Depends on the app, of course - any Microsoft app will do this via the File -> Open or Save As dialogues. This can be stopped by preventing context menus.

Hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

In CITRIX program Neighbhorhood I am trying to enable pass through authentication. But "Pass-through autentication" is greyed-out. How do I go about enabling this feature for users???

I would like to use this instead of "User-specified credentials", which requires users to log on to the CITRIX farm when they first start-up CITRIX.

You can find this feature under Settings>Logon Information>Local User
Is there anyone who can help me???
