Security User Accounts

Hey Everyone,

I would like to create a single user account with limited permissions that could be used by several people.

Is there a problem with several people using the same user account simultaneously? Will they be locked out, etc.?

The only reason for doing so is to limit the need to for someone to create new accounts each time there is a new hire, etc.

Hi,

There is no problem (that I have ever experienced) using one account to log on for multiple users.

I would just make sure you have a Frontend, with program/forms/reports/queries/code linked to tables in a Backend.

Then, place a frontend on each user's PC and the backend on a shared network drive or folder.
