Hello,
I attempted to secure a database and it appears to work. However, now I am prompted for a log in box on ANY database I access via my computer, whether they were secured prior or not. In addition, my users cannot access the new database via the network. They get an error saying the permissions are incorrect.

How can I get rid of this security so that I am not prompted for log on for every system I try and access. I will deal with the potential problems with an unsecured database or come up with another means of securing it.

This was a terrible idea...

thanks

Seems you have secured your database without specifying a specific .MDW file and thus your default one (system.mdw) has been updated.

Hope This Helps, PH.

I fixed it by importing all my tbls, queries, etc..into another database and then moving all the old files into another folder. Dont think I will be using that feature for awhile..

Thanks
