Hi,
I am trying to install a client/server app on my sbs 2003 r2 box that requires 'Flash' - but when I attempt to install flash from the Adobe site I get the "Information Bar" message -

"Your security settings do not allow websites to use ActiveX controls installed on your computer. This page may not display correctly. Click here for options..."

I have -
- added the relevant URL's to the "Trusted Sites"
- tried every combo of "Active X" setting possible in IE under the 'Security_Custom' tab
- searched (googled) for solutions and so far no joy

Any advice please - I am getting desperate!

Thanks,
Mark

Remove the "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration" component from the server.

Go to Control Panel >Add or Remove Programs >Add/Remove Windows Components> uncheck Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration and click Next to uninstall the feature

Thanks Joey,

That did it!

I only unchecked the IEESC for "Administrators and Power Users" for now and that enabled me to do the download/install.

Thanks again,
