security service is not available

I get an error message 'the security service is not available' when i try to access any of my coldfusion web pages. i've googled all over the place and can't seem to find an answer. It's been working fine for several months; however, today i had to reboot the server and now it's not. all the coldfusion and webservices seem to be running.

any help would be much appreciated.

yeah, i had already read that. that was the only thing that i was able to find online googling that error message. Didn't seem to really apply to my situation.

I went ahead and uninstalled and reinstalled coldfusion and it's working fine now. weird.
