Can anyone provide any info the security that can be applied to the above batch processes in 4.3.1.2 > In the main I want to know if you can restrict the ability of a user to only execute/delete queries relating to their employee Id. P.S we do not have establishment we just have user details in MSO810 (very basic). Any info would be appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge, you can restrict who can run the program (with MSF020), but I don't believe that it has any finer selection such as USer ID.

Are you referring to the ability for the user to delete or initiate reports that are waiting to process as seen on MSO083? If yes, then the security level given for MSO083 program on the MSO020 profile may be your key.

From the reference manuals under security:

MSO083 - Report Request Maintenance
Match value of 1 - 8 then access is permitted to users own requests only.
Match value of 1 allows review (not maintenance) of own requests only
Match value of 2 allows maintenance of all fields except action field and multiple printers.
Match value of 3 allows above plus access to multiple printers.
Match value of 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 allows access to above plus access to the delete request function. LIST_ELEMENT Match value of 9 permits access to all functions for all requests.

Hopefully that is what you were referring to.

Donna
