Hey All,
My boss tells me we (I) need to make my phone system comply with "security standards". I have an old Norstar system, one of the manuals says ICS 1.1 and was printed in 1997. I don't know if these standards would even apply to me. I am the company phone guy by default, hence the forum post. The things on the list that have me stumped are;
-Deny 10+ carrier code dialing.
-Deny 90/900 transfer access.
Is this something I have to worry about? Would I need to contact my phone service provider about it? Google tells me nothing.(Google! Why have you forsaken me?)
Thanks for any help. Sorry if this turns out not to be Norstar specific.
-Andy
