I have a webserver in a domain and application with windows security mode if when I try to access the applicacion with one computer in the domain, should a I have to view the user password screen and type the user and pass or not?

Change the settings on your explorer
Internet Options -> Secuirty -> Custom Level
scroll to the very bottom and select what you want.

I'm not really sure I understand the question.

If you have a website set to use Windows Authority, it means that only Windows Users of MSIE will gain access to that website and it is private.

Is the site supposed to be secured?

If so, is it only accessible by Windows MSIE users?

When IE gets an HTTP Error 401 - Unauthorized in response to a Request that was submitted without credentials then it will automatically repeat the request using the credientials of the current user. If the request was submitted WITH credentials but you still got a 401 then IE pops up the login dialog box.

the thing is: My computer already has a login credential from a domain. but why the application are still asking for the user and password again.
