Hello,
I have developed a windows app using visual studio 2008. I can run it from the IDE just fine - everything runs perfect. I then switch it to release mode, build the program and copy the executable to a network drive. when I try to run the app from the network drive, it errors with -

Application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy.

Anyone have any idea why I can't execute?

Thanks

Known issue. Did you try googling for it?

You have 2 options:

1. Apply the appropriate security policy in code to your application so that it may be run from an untrusted site (Network Drive)

2. Don't run it from the network drive.

The second one is a better idea :)
