Hi,

I am needing to be able to work on queries and forms while others are in the database. I keep getting a message that I do not exclusive access at this time and I will not be able to save my changes.

Is there a way around this??

TIA

You may consider to split your database in FE/BE, doing your designe changes in a copy of the FE.

Hope This Helps, PH.

I am not ready to go to that step. I used to have this ability in Access 97. Is there a way to have it again?

Since ac2k you must have exclusive access to the DB in order to do design change.
