Hi,
I need to change the password of the security layer when connecting to a client server, but this means that i need to remember all the old password if i need to restore a tape of 1 year aged.

Is there a way of shooting this security layer?
Or is there a way of not saving the password on the tape so that i can use a domain user and change the password as often as i wish?

Sorry for the english, i'm french, :)))

thanx in advance

You only need an OLD password IF you used a SESSION password when you backed up the machine.

IF you DID NOT use a SESSION password, the only password needed for a restore is one with sufficient access to restore the files on the target machine.
