I have a secured database that I split. How come the security is only enforced on the front end and not on the back end? How can I enforce the security on both?

You'll have to fully secure the back end just like you did with the front end.

One possibility is that you haven't fully secured the front end and this was just brought to your attention after you split it. But it's also quite possible that you just didn't realize you'd have to secure the back end.

I've got a version of the MS Security FAQ on my website. It will show you the steps to follow to secure something.

Hope this helps.
