Hi,
As a long-time, but limited scope Linux programmer, I am now setting up an eCommerce Website on a Linux-based Virtuozzo VPS that uses the C-Panel/WHM provided by the hosting company for each individual site I set up.
What, if anything, do I need to do to address the security issue? Hosting provider states that security is part of the managed support provided. This suggests that I don't need to provide my own anti-virus, firewall, email-scaning, etc., solutions. To what extent is this understanding likely correct?
(Yes, this is very sketchy. I have only just begun down this path and don't have all the details in front of me just now. But I'm looking for suggestions on what to look for in the supplied resources and what, if anything, I might expect to have to provide on my own.)
