On the logon screen I get this message that "The secuirty log on the system is full only administrator can log on to fix the problem.

The problem is when I logon as Administrator and go to Event viewer and right click on the system log select properties and click the clear log tab, it gives me this message "Unable to complete operation on "security". A required privilege is not held by the client".

Anyone know how to correct this problem because I have not been able to find any documentation on the above message.

What happens if you try the 'Restore Defaults' button?

My log file seems to be at C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\SysEvent.Evt. Use explorer to navigate to this file and check the permissions.

What is worriesome here is that the Security log is disabled by default. I suspect you should go back into System Properties and check all the settings relating to the Security log.
