Security Issue

Hi
My boss wants to allow incoming calls from the public to the switchboards to be allowed to be transferred Out of the switch to the public. I have tried to explain the security implications of allowing this, but not having much joy. has anyone any info documents that might explain the problems of allowing trunk to trunk, or am I being paranoid

I had a similar problem with trunk to trunk, as they did a lot of conference calls and transfering calls to conference phones etc.

but the comany I did it for was prepared to live with the consequences.

its not adviced, but I dont know any paperwork,

explain the impliocations and on his own head be it !
