hi

I am trying to achive something simple, but failing.

Want to give access to few data to only few user groups.

Sales managers can see all sales. Sales teams can see only their perticular sales.... like this.

1. I created user classes,
2. Added access manager to model,
3. Generated categories
4. In categories viewer, user clasess tab, selected to user class "sales team uk" and selected "use custom view". Excluded non-uk categoris.
5. Generated cube
6. Added cube to PPES, published
7. Loged in user beloned to "sales team uk" user class alone

the result is user can still see the categories that are excluded for that user class.

wht else i missed out?

thanks in advance.

regards,
Sudhi

Have you added the user classes to the cube in transformer ?

Once you have created the views for each user class you need to Drag the user class that you want to associate with the cube form the user class list to the appropriate cube or cube group in the PowerCubes list.
