I am running a network with os 9.1 and 9.2. I have an anonymous login set up with panel accounts for the regular users. in the panel I have [among other programs] internet explorer 5 for macs.
I have recently discovered that through internet explorer, in the context menus [on top of the screen] a user can open any program by using the open option. [or pressing command+o]. they then have access to the desktop folder as well as the rest of the hard drive.they also have access to every computer on the network. this makes the panel account almost worthless.
I am looking for a way to prevent this from happening. does anybody know what to do?
thanks in advance
