Hi all,

I'm thinking of implementing security hardening on the local policies, services on workgroup Servers (i.e. not joined to domain) that are installed with Windows 2003 R2 SP2.

What is the best rollout method? Anyone has some sample or tested templates?

secedit?

Pls advise. Thks.

Rgds,

You can test using MS security config wizard and using the available security policies for servers. Once you are comfortable with the settings you can deploy to all your servers that are in workgroup mode. You can also run MBSA afterwards to look for items that may have been missed during config.
