I've heard the security test is not so much hard, as it is tricky in the wording. Almost every awnser is correct, you just have to figure out which one is the best. If this is true, what's the best method for studying for the test? Ideas? Thanks.

Are you asking about the security+ exam or Windows Security Exams? Before i answer let me just say, any comptia questions you have should be posted in that forum.

The security+ is a very easy exam. To me it was more common sense than anything. This is a basic fundamental exam to have a understanding of terms and definition.

Microsoft security exams are based on Microsoft security. How to configure policies, Certificate Servers, Security Templates, Software Restrictions..etc.

If you have never taking any Security courses, Sybex has a good security book to become familiar with the concepts. From there i would do a lot of practice test to reinforce your knowledge of the subject. Trust me you will pass, unless you took the exam without reading anything.

Do not pray to have an easier life, pray to be a stronger man!!!

Totally off-topic, but when I took the exam a couple of months ago it also covered some aspects of Windows security too, like VPN, security policies, etc. There was some overlap with 70-299, though Security+ was more general.

And I wouldn't say that all of the answers are correct, but I do think that most of the answers will improve security. You job is to interpret the question to provide exactly what is requested, even when one of the other presented answers would be better.
