Security Event Log

Hi,

I followed the procedures in the MOM Installation Guide to
test my MOM implementation. I installed an agent on a
machine to be monitored. I set up Account Logon auditing
on this machine. I created a Event Processing Rule as
outlined in the MOM Installation Guide. When I try to test
my MOM implementation by logging on to the machine where
the agent is installed, an alert isn' t shown in the MOM
Administrator Console (All Open Alerts view). When I
looked at the All Windows NT Events view, I don' t see any
entries for the Security Event Log. What is going on here?
Can someone help me out please? Am I doing something wrong?

Have you enabled auditing on your nodes? By default, auditing is not enabled.
