Security Event Log problem

Hi there,

My NT server SECURITY event log is not recording anything in the event viewer. All the Log settings looking OK ex. Event log rapping set to: Overwrite Events as needed. I don’t know what the problem is? Any suggestions in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

You should check whether your audit option is checked or not in usermanager . Goto usermanger in usrmanager under policies tab there is option for audit. Under audit atb please check the audit is enabled or not.i.e. untick "do not audit option" And tick the option "audit these events" and select the vents which you want.
