I have a user that is running Win95 that cannot send emails since we upgraded our GroupWise from 6 to 6.5. It gives the message that he needs a security certificate. I do not understand why it asks this. He was running GW 5.5 previously and I upgraded his to 6.5 and installed the newest Novell client and service pack b. Still nothing. When I sign into his pc as myself and go into GroupWise I can send emails but he cannot. He is actually from a partnering company who has special access and priveliges.
Any ideas?

The problem may be that under Tools/Options/Security/Send Options he has "sign digitally" selected under secure item options. If this is selected, and no certificate is available, you will be asked for a certificate before the e-mail will be sent.

Thank you. That worked. It was one of those really simple things that you overlook because you are looking too hard for a complicated solution....

Thanks!!

I'm guilty of the same thing StrandSC. To some degree I beleive we all are, it's the nature of the business. Have a good one!
