Hello,

I am trying to log into a website and am getting a pop-up box with the following message:

"Information you exchange on this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However, there is a problem with the sit's security certificate.

* The security certificate is from a trusted certifying authority.

! The security certificate has expired or not yet valid.

! The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site.

Do you want to proceed?"

When I clicked yes, the website came up blank. However, I was able to log into the website multiple times today with no problem. My question is, is this a problem with the website or is it a problem on my end? If it is a problem on my end, what can I do to correct it?

If anyone knows, I would really appreciate a reply.

Thank you.

go to TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, ADVANCED
scroll down to Security settings and check or uncheck desired options.

somtimes companys allow their Security certificates to lapse or in the case of downloads the site you are downloading from is not the holder of the certificate and you will get that message.
