Just installed our first SQL 2000 server and I'm coming across a little problem.
I am trying to setup the SECURITY / AUTHENTICATION for the server to be "SQL Server and Windows" instead of the default "Windows Only"
When I make the change and click "OK", the change appears to work (no errors, etc). But when I open the Properties again, the selection is back on "Windows Only".
I've tried stopping and restarting the server to no avail. I am logged in as the administrator.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a "feature" that I'm unaware of? Is there some other security overriding my changes?
This is a brand new Windows 2000, SQL 2000 installation
Thanks,
Todd
