Security log is full:
hi, i have ran into a serious problem, i changed a few settings on the group policies at work, and now everybody's computer is getting locket out with a message saying "security log is full only administrators can login and change the logs"

i changed the file size to 1024 K in the group policie but the problem persists

my question is how do i delete the security logs in the workstation itself?!!!!

The Internet? is that thing still around?!!

Well don't know how many workstations are affected, the best you can do in this case is to use computer management to connect to the workstations and change the log settings and empty the security log

thanks for your response, you are talking about the mmc on the dns?

If your workstations are accessible, you can go into computer mgmt from the server or even your workstation (right click My Computer->Manage->highlight Computer Management->Select connect to another computer->select the computer, open event viewer->right click on Security and make your changes
