Just wanted to let you know something that I discovered today:
When running MS Virtual Server 2005, it is best to -not leave the Virtual Server Administration website open when you won't be using it for a while-. Doing so will result in hundreds, if not thousands, of 538, 540, 552, and 576 "Success Audit" notifications in your security event log... Per minute. I logged into one of our host machines today to discover that the security log was full of rather more than a million event entries, about 320MB of events.
After some tinkering, I found that the notifications stopped after closing the interface. Hopefully, this helps someone...
