Is it possible to adjust who sees the main database window by their login..So that regular users would only see the switchboard and the forms they open, but admins could see the main database window and toolbars.

And if that is not possible, if I turn off the toolbars and main database windows and other things from the Startup menu, if I've hid the menu bar, how can I get these things back.

You can turn all of that off using the startup menu. If you want to go in as a admin after that just hold down the shift key when you open up the database.

Yep, I agree, it will work for the view portion not the security.
