security access to groups

I need to create a database to which 3 groups should have different access. Only 1 of the groups (HR) should have access to a person's personal details (address, next of kin etc) which I intend to store in the Staff Table along with the person's name and a staff id.

If I restrict access to that table would the other 2 groups be able to run reports that give the person's name with the other details relating to their employment.

I've never used the Security feature before so any help appreciated.

In the SQL pane of the query window while the cursor is inside the word OWNERACCESS press the F1 key

I.m sorry I don't know what you mean. Do you mean in the SQL view of a query?

Yes.
You may also search your local drives for files named jet*.chm

Thanks Found that. I'm just concerned that it says don't use this if you want to enforce security which I do. I want them to be able to see the person's name but not any other info in that table if they run a query

Use this instruction only in the query grabbing only the name's
