I'm trying to secure a VPN connection.
The server is running 2000 Small Business Server and has got the VPN connection ESTABLISHED. What I need to do now is encrypt it somehow. Ive installed certification services and tried to set up a trust certificate between the two machines. I have never done anything like this before though and it doesnt work.
We are using a brand new Compaq server, a D-Link DSL-504 ADSL Router and the clients are running Windows 2000 Professional.
As I've said, I have never done ANYTHING like this before, so is there any chance anybody could explain to me in the most basic terms, how to set up some encryption or security (beyond a password).
ANY help will be massively appreciated because this is really killin' my head now!
