securing emails

i have a client that is a hostel.
they wish to receive credit card info via emails.
what is the cheapest or free method to go about doing this.
i understand that it'll be an authentication method handled by a third party, im just wondering how to go about this.

look into installing one of the Shopping Cart programs. Google shows a bunch.

i have looked into a program called Shop-Script-Free but not done anything with it yet.
