Securing a home wireless network with a VPN

All - Due to the issues with WEP and WPA, I'm thinking of implementing a VPN at home to secure my wireless network (3-5 users).

Can anyone please provide any suggestions as to which hardware is the best value for the money?

If more details would be helpful, please let me know and thanks for any help or suggestions you can provide.
