I placed an Access database on a shared drive of a server at my company. This database is also password protected. When assigned users of the database attempt to access the database, it opens without requiring a logon. When I attempt to access the database, it works properly. One problem may be that the shared drive on the server is read-only for everyone except the owner, myself. However, why doesn't the application require the user to enter a password? It opens as if no security has been setup. Any ideas anyone?

Is the database split? front end, back end?

But only one way to get it RIGHT!

There is one database file that houses an interface form, and this interface controls 4 separate database files. In this configuration, there are 3 .mdb files interface with one main .mdb file.
