SecureRemote with NT&2K

I am having a problem connecting to the domain with win NT and win 2000 using a dailup connection. I am using the lastest version and built of secure remote. How would I log into the domain if my dailup connection is not up yet? Since, NT&2K you have to log in before you connect to your ISP. I have no problem connecting over a dailup connection with win 98.
