Help Please!
We have a DMZ setup and would like to house our Exchange servers internally using ISA server as a gateway between the 2 networks.

Our Setup:
Exchange 2003 Front-end, IP 172.16.4.32 (internal)
Exchange 2003 Back-end, IP 172.16.4.49 (internal)
ISA Server 2000, IP 172.16.4.33 (internal), 212.121.0.235 (DMZ).
We have a firewall which allows all smtp traffic to our dmz. Should be simple enough.
Trouble is when I install ISA server, it's external IP no longer pings. Is this a normal ISA function?
I have followed the various tutorials from isaserver.org, (Publishing A Mail Server and ISA Server 2000 with Exch 2003). No success.
Also, when I change the gateway of the front-end server to point to the ISA server, SecureNAT, the OWA access internally slows down to a crawl.
We are running our own DNS in the DMZ, but cannot move it, so we have records on it for our front-end server.

Any Ideas?
Thanks.
Mike
