Hi all,

Need a bit of help with this one..

Can anyone tell me why some of my clients to ISA Server 2006 have session types with both SecureNAT and Webproxy?

Is secureNAT required by all clients when they access the Internet?
Do they need SecureNAT at all?
Can I get away with forcing my clients to just use Webproxy?

All help appreciated.. :)

WebProxy is a traffic generated from the Internet Explorer sessions. SecureNAT - is when the ISA is used as a default gateway and the communication is not HTTP.

What are the reasons for your concerns?

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply..

Its the number of sessions we have - it seems too many. I would have thought that the only thing there should be proxy clients.

I cannot see why the ISA server would be used by any clients as a default gateway.. Will have to check this out.

Cheers

A
