Hello,

I use securemote with checkpoint. Basically I define a encryption domain and create vpn users. So when I connect using securemote my original IP is retained and I have access to the private networks behind the firewall.

Similirly I would like to know whether the same functinality is available with a home PIX 506E . The PIX gets a DHCP IP address from my cable/modem. The PIX allocates DHCP addresses to my internal network. I do not have a DNS/WINS at home. I do not have any IP pool defined.
I have defined username and password.

Now I want to connect to my home network from outside just by user name and by using the current DHCP address of my PIX.

Is this possible? Please let me know.

Thanks
