SecuRemote problem ( create one site )

I am interested in test securemote, not Secureclient, on my company for remote users. We have 5 PC clients (W98) and the firewall management (VPN - NG) is on the internal network with DMZ (W2K AdvSrv).
I have installed Securemote on my computer (DIAL-UP) but when I create a new site with IP address of external interface, i get the following error "Communication with site has failed", but when i try to create one new site with IP address of DMZ i can. It is normal?

If not, what must i configure on firewall?
