Hi,

I know you can ignore this message and your VPN connection will not be blocked and it will still be secure, but how can you disable IP forwarding on a Windows 2000 pc to get rid of this message.

I know how to enable ip forwarding on a W2k pc by adding an entry into the registry: IPEnableRouter = 1.
I tried changing the "1" to a "0", but this didn't work.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks for any help you can give.

u have to disable the "Routing and Ras" service in services

Thanks, but this user is both LAN and dialup. He uses the dialup for SecuRemote and needs RAS service. He uses the dialup to bypass his firewall.

Any more ideas???

follmad,

I beleive the RAS service is to provide incoming remote access, not outgoing. Have you tried disabling Routing and Ras and testing this?
