Okay, when you try to access a secured site, sometimes you may received the error pages cannot be diplayed or DNS error, what are the steps to prevent that from happening again when you try to access an online banking.. my browser already a 128 bit encryption and still getting that error message...thanks in advance.

I take it you are just a customer on the outside?
Check your URL the next time you get the error page and make sure it is <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> from that there is nothing you can do if you are connecting sometimes. If this is the case and you went to the secured pages via a link, inform the administrator of the site you are accessing - they have a coding issue.
Robin Ptasiuk
rptasiuk@home.com

MCSE, MCT

What happens at work with the firewall is when travelling to a site, the firewall takes a moment to refresh it's DNS list. So I gotta hit enter a second time. Annoying, but it doesn't happen every time, just every now and again. Do you have a corporate firewall between you and the bank?

Chip H.

Sometimes it times out because of the computation a mechaine takes before encrypting the message, the lestining server would simply ignore you after sometime.

Another advice, make sure that SSL is enabled in your browser's advanced propereties.
