secured pages don't show up on live server

Hi,
long time ago I had almost the same problem but with all php pages.

I'm transferring one website to a new host (yahoo) and now regular 'front end' pages work fine but all password-protected ones including login.php page come up empty with no errors.

I'm using sessions for authentication & authorization.

I suspect that php.ini should be modified but I have no idea how.
For now I just copied it into the root of this new website.

It looks like it could be a register globals problem. How are you passing variables to the session and how are you calling them from the session again? Show us the affected code.
