I'm testing a product called SecureCTR on a Lab Windows 7 OS to see if I can get into a Merlin Messaging 3.0 . I can IP into the MMessaging now using WIN XP but Windows 7 doesn't support the 16bit Merlin Messaging Admin software and the (group) I work for doesn't allow "compatability mode" for security reasons.

The SecureCTR set up asks what protocol and port is used, does anyone know that answer? INTERNET Protocol isn't a choice.
(SSH1 SSH2 RAW RLOGIN SSL ??)

Thanks in advance,

Mike

sounds like a job for a xp machine - the app - a merlin messaging - and wireshark

Should be able to tell a lot about the connection from an actual connection.
