SecureClient Time Setting

I wonder if anyone can help, we are running SecureClient. It is set up on our remote site. Basically it keeps popping up a box asking to authenticate, even if we are logged on locally rather than connected to the VPN. Is there a timeout setting on this or can this be disabled? I presume it is to do with SSL.

Please advise.
