Im setting up secure websm for a number of clients HMC's, which i and my colleagues manage from pc laptops. These are completely different and isolated client solutions.

It has occured to me that the public key ring file which comes from each clients HMC CA will have the same filename, so cant co-exist in the <codebase> directory.

Suggestions for the best way round this ?

Having seperate installations of WebSM for every client in different directories seems very messy.

I guess the easy way to do it is to create a batch file that copies the correct public key file in.

I did find another method google for "Secure WebSM with mutliple HMC's" but don't think it's what your looking for.

Depending on the number of clients and the configuration of the laptops, you could use VMWare Workstation to create separate virtual client machines. You'd only have to configure them on one laptop, after which you could copy them to the others. You will need Windows licenses for each instance, of course (I'm assuming you're talking about the PC client).
