Hello,

We have an ASP page, where we are allowing the clients of our client to upload PDF documents. ASPUpload from Persits Corp. is being used here.

Now our client wants this uploading to be secure. They say, the document needs to be signed digitally so they can ensure it is from the actual sender and not an XYZ hacker.

There is however, a solution for this, with Verisign called VeriSign® Authentic Document IDs

Questions are, how to incorporate this solution in ASP, when our client's clients are common peoplem, who will be ideally using ONLY their browser to upload.

How to deal with this situation ? Is Adobe offering any relevant products for this ?

Thank you,
RR.

well, from my understanding, I don't believe adobe would have anything to do with it.

As far as getting it to work with "common users"...from my understanding the top name companies (i.e. Verisign) have everything you needed built into the browsers because they are a world-wide trusted corporation. Again though, that's just from my understanding, and I could be wrong. I think you only need to deal with Verisign to obtain the Digital Auth. ID's certificate for your server.

Maybe someone else knows more on this than me though. (I'm sure there are :)) -Ovatvvon :-Q
